The Northeast Regional Strategy Committee
The Northeast Regional Strategy Committee (NE RSC) provides executive leadership, coordination and guidance for implementation of the Northeast Regional Action Plan while providing a forum for members to recommend and guide joint strategic direction on fire and land management activities. The NE RSC continues to collaboratively support, recognize and assist the National Cohesive Wildland Fire Management Strategy goals and implementation efforts.
The Northeast Regional Strategy Committee (NE RSC) represents all wildland fire management partners at the federal, state, tribal and local levels and is focused on advancing the northeast regional wildland fire management action plan and priorities in support of the National Cohesive Wildland Fire Management Strategy.
The NE RSC endeavors to represent all the federal, state, local, Tribal, and non-governmental organizations (NGO) in the wildland fire management community in the 20 Northeastern and Midwestern States.
The NE RSC is the only regional wildland fire management forum in the Northeast to exchange ideas and maintain a collaborative environment among many partners, and focus on developing mutually beneficial strategies and problem-solving.
